Deep Fried Manna is comprised of a small team of technology and Hollywood industry vets. Between the four of us, we have seven kids all under the age of 8. We had shelves full of VeggieTales DVDs, but found that all of our kids had their faces buried in iPads, iPods, iPhones, and iWhateverIsYetToComes, yet there are so few brands that we know and trust to deliver high quality, engaging and biblically grounded apps for our kids. And so Deep Fried Manna was born to deliver on that promise.
Why Deep Fried Manna? In the book of Exodus in the Old Testament, as the Israelites were wandering the desert, God provided manna for them each day, but instructed them to only collect what was needed for each day, so that they would learn to trust that God would provide for each day. While one might think this is a crazy philosophy for running a company, we think it’s a good model for us. Oh, and we also thought that if they had a portable deep fryer with them, the Israelites would definitely deep fry their manna, cause everything’s better deep fried.
